THE MEDIATION RULES OF CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION ASSOCIATION (CIDRA) ARTICLE 23 - OTHER ALTERNATIVES IF SETTLEMENT IS NOT REACHED 1) If a resolution of the dispute is not reached, the mediator shall discuss with the parties the possibility of their agreeing to a non-binding or binding arbitration, "last offer" arbitration, or another form of Alternative Dispute Resolution. 2) If the parties agree in principle, the mediator may offer to assist them in structuring a procedure designed to result in a prompt, economical dispute resolution process.
